Como lo es la marca de CROCS, una marca estadounidense que sin duda ha arrasado con la tendencia del STRETT STYLE.
Es por eso que te cuento un poco acerca de estos ugly shoes …
- Crocs es una empresa relativamente joven que logró un éxito fenomenal en casi poco tiempo. Al producir fabricantes de zuecos cómodos y fáciles de usar con un innovador material espumoso, la compañía hizo que sus zapatos fueran icónicos y el logotipo, reconocible al instante.
- El nombre de la marca, Crocs, vino a la mente del fundador cuando miraron sus zuecos desde un lado, y parecían un hocico de cocodrilo. Lo curioso es que el material del que están hechos los famosos zuecos se llama Croslite, y su nombre apareció mucho antes del lanzamiento de la marca.
- El logotipo original de Crocs, diseñado en 2002, estaba compuesto por un emblema verde, colocado a la izquierda de la marca denominativa monocromática en todas las mayúsculas. También había un eslogan verde lúdico, «Get a Grip», colocado debajo de la parte derecha de la inscripción principal.
- El emblema verde representaba un cocodrilo sonriente divertido, que tenía un contorno verde.
- La imagen de una criatura superpuso un poco a la primera letra «C».
En cuanto a la inscripción, se ejecutó en un sans-serif personalizado con líneas negras extra-atrevidas y finas blancas, atravesando sus medios, para hacer el logo más ligero y dinámico.
- El rediseño de 2005 trajo a la marca el aspecto que todos conocemos ahora. Hoy en día, el logotipo de Crocs presenta un emblema sólido en blanco y negro, donde el icónico cocodrilo está dibujado sobre un fondo negro y delineado en blanco y negro.
- La marca denominativa en minúsculas está escrita en un tipo de letra sans-serif redondeada en negrita y colocada debajo del emblema circular.
También hay una opción de color inverso del logotipo del zapatero, que no es común, pero aún lo usa la marca.
- El logotipo de Crocks presenta un cocodrilo. Para ser precisos, puede ver su cabeza y la parte superior del cuerpo (con las dos patas superiores) colocadas dentro de un marco circular.
